If a=97.5, b=100, c=102.95 then find a^2+b^2+c^2-ab-bc-ca

 Question

1. If a=97.5, b=100, c=102.95 then find a^2+b^2+c^2-ab-bc-ca

Solution :-

concept - if a,b,c are arithmetic progression ( A.P )

a^2+b^2+c^2-ab-bc-ca = 3 x ( common difference )^2

In this problem the difference between the values are 2.5.

= 3 x (2.5)^2
= 3 x 6.25
Ans = 18.75
